New ordering site.

Please make sure that you order your Creative Memories products from my new site, www.mycmsite.com/scrappingmoms

Make sure to order your holiday kits before they are discontinued. If you are ordering digital downloads you will get them right after you submit your payment. You can order all the digital items as downloads, even the ones with coupon codes.

I just got my first printed album, & I think that I am in love. I am going to get more albums printed as soon as I have some extra money. I have enough pages for 2 books right now, so I'm going to start compling them. If I am going to be seeing you in the near future, ask me to bring it.

I've been busy with family and school, but I have some time off so I'm back to scrapping.

I want to encourage everyone to take part in Project 365 this coming year. Project 365 is where you take one picture everyday & scrap a layout for every 7 days. At the end of the year you will have on great album.

Let me know if you have any questions or need any encouragment!

Soldier On by Scrappy Bug

I've been meaning to scrap these 2 pictures since they were each taken, but I had to find just the right kit to do it. I came across this kit on my flash drive, it was on the ones that survived the crash of my hard drive, so glad it did. I hope you enjoy them as much as my brother & sister-in-law do. I am having these printed as 12 x 12 to frame & give as a gift.

My First Creative Team!

Some ladies on JM suggested Mandy King's CT because it a Kit by Kit. Which really means that I don't have to feel obligated to use all of her kits. Even though everything I have seen from her I think I could really use. Anyway, last week I was able to get in on her Morning Hymm Kit. I love absolutely love the colors. I hope you like it too!

How to use Predesigned SBC Albums

Creative Memories has so many freebie albums on their site that you can download. So I want to help you learn to use them with your program.

1. Choose the style you like & download it if you haven't already.

2. Open & load that project, choose auto fill if you really want it to be easy.

3. Along the left side of the screen are all the layers, click on the first one you want to change.

4. I clicked the red stripe on the left hand side.

5. Choose the cut & fill tab at the top of SBC.

6. Choose color or paper to fill that selected item.

7. You can change as much or as little as you want.

8. Do you like something off another page? Just copy & paste it.

9. These photo circles were 6 individual elements. I grouped them.

a. Grouping: hold the shift button & click on everything you want to group, then go to arrange on the top of the page & click group. This will make them one item.

10. Right click & copy then paste to the page you want it.

Predesigned albums are awesome because you can easily customize them!

Have Fun!

So, I know how to blend photos with our Storybook Creator now! Yippee! Can we say super easy? Well it is! Hopefully I can share it with you as easily as I did it on my own. Here's my attempt.

1. Extract (if you want)the picture you want to blend. (If you need to learn extraction, I haven't done a blog yet. Sorry, I will work on that too!
2. Go to Format, & change the opacity.
3. Group your photo & your paper that is in the background.
4. Go to Format, pick your surface, & apply!
5. Enjoy!

Shine On Blog Train, Word Art Challenge on JM

In The Beginning

My sister, Chelsea, & I wanted to start our company where we scrapped for other people. The people that don't have time to do it themselves. It is still a goal of ours, but with busy lives it just hasn't happened yet. So, in the mean time I have started on several other scrapping goals. One of them being part of a Creative Team. There is a lot entailed in that. You have to start somewhere, so I decided to start a scrap blog. So here it is my very first scrap blog. I am going to try to upload something to it everyday. Wish me luck!
