I'm back!

It's been the longest 4 weeks ever. I haven't had my computer for 5 weeks, and the first was easy. Now, I just feel incredibily behind in everything. I don't even know where to start. What do I show you? Where do I start?

I want to tell you that on April 1st, I am launching a new Etsy site for all my projects. Margaret and I have been working super hard, we want this to be our year and we are going to make this business soar!

Also, I am going to become a Creative Memories Consultant on my own again as of April 1st as well. I'm trying to get a jump on traditional scrapbooking again, so let's get together and do some together.

I'm excited about a few of the new things with Creative Memories too! I'm holding a Card Making Night and Photo Solutions Party this Friday, so call me if you want to come out.

Right now you can order from my site at www.mycmsite.com/scrappinmoms

Week 3 Coming to a Close

It's hard to believe that we are already 3 weeks into the new year. Have you been keeping up with your projects? I have been taking pictures everyday for the last 21 days this month. I started my project 365 with digital but decided that I am going to do it with traditional. My goal is to scrap them tonight, take pictures of them & post them to share. If you're wondering about project 365 you can look at a previous blog post & read all about it.

To get prepared for traditional scrapping, since I haven't done it in a while, I bought a Power Layout Kit. I have it stacked with at least 6 complete layouts, 12 pages in total. I'm excited to see how much quicker my scrapping will be since I have pretty much everything I need for each of those layouts ready to go. I also bought the Power Palette Organizer to keep my paper, embellishments, and alphas organized. I've already found that extremely helpful.

Today I printed some ideas from Creative Memories Project Center. I am going to use these to help me design my layouts and just give me some great ideas. It's my goal to design pages and be able to post about them so that you can make them too. That is what the project center is for as well. There are some AWESOME ideas for traditional and digital, even card making and borders. Go check it out!

The latest with my CT, I don't know how I did it, but I created pages with only half of the kit she gave me. What a dork, right? So I've got that fixed. I hope you enjoy River Bed by Scrappy Bug as much as I do.

Happy Scrappin'

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a Happy and safe New Year celebration!

So what is your scrapbooking goal this year? Maybe you haven't scrapped in a REALLY long time? Maybe you haven't scrapped at all. I want to help you, I really do! I think that scrapping is a great way to relax while preserving your memories FOREVER. In 2010, there were several important things that happened in my life, one the biggest things was my baby brother getting married. My scrapping habit came in good use when I created a wedding album for them for Christmas. It was the first album, that I have ever printed, and it is amazing. So now that I have one done I am completely inspired to do some more.

I have had a lot of questions about what is the difference between Creative Memories program & printing and other programs. I've only ever tried Photoshop & it is just over my head. I think that the Creative Memories program is user friendly. As for printing, there are so many companies that you can print from, but someone has done some great research that I wanted to share with you. Although Creative Memories isn't on there for printing, it is some great information. Click Here

This year it is my goal to complete Project 365. Project 365 is taking a picture for everyday, and scrapping it once a week. There are a couple different versions that I have heard about this year, like Project 52 or Project 12. Click each of those links if you are interested.

I am currently part of ScrappyBug's Creative Team, so I will be posting her freebies, challenges, and kits for sale. Come back often to check out how my Project 365 is going, I will try to post my pages each week. Also I am still a Creative Memories consultant, so you can order from me anytime while in your pajamas at Scrappinmoms. If you're a digital customer most digital artwork can be downloaded right there, Pay & Play!

Thanks for all your support!

New ordering site.

Please make sure that you order your Creative Memories products from my new site, www.mycmsite.com/scrappingmoms

Make sure to order your holiday kits before they are discontinued. If you are ordering digital downloads you will get them right after you submit your payment. You can order all the digital items as downloads, even the ones with coupon codes.

I just got my first printed album, & I think that I am in love. I am going to get more albums printed as soon as I have some extra money. I have enough pages for 2 books right now, so I'm going to start compling them. If I am going to be seeing you in the near future, ask me to bring it.

I've been busy with family and school, but I have some time off so I'm back to scrapping.

I want to encourage everyone to take part in Project 365 this coming year. Project 365 is where you take one picture everyday & scrap a layout for every 7 days. At the end of the year you will have on great album.

Let me know if you have any questions or need any encouragment!
